My name is Claire Garnett and I am currently studying an MSc in Research Methods in Psychology at UCL after having read Natural Sciences (Part II Psychology) at Cambridge University for my undergraduate degree.

This blog is about the idioms we use in every day language that have a psychological basis and whether there is any truth behind them. I will be writing about a wide range of areas in psychology and so, hopefully, this blog will be of interest to anyone curious about psychology, our use of idioms, or both!

Please let me know if you can think of a psychological idiom I should write about.
